Contador – Responsable de Gestión Contable

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to lead and supervise our institutional accounting function. The role ensures reliable financial information, compliance with accounting and tax obligations, and efficient execution of the accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and validate accounting entries, closing processes and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and present financial statements and accounting reports.
• Ensure compliance with fiscal and tax obligations.
• Review and control supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.
• Monitor accounts receivable and the institutional budget.
• Oversee payroll processing and employee benefits.
• Coordinate and support the accounting team, promoting process improvement and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Training in accounting management, internal control and budgeting.
• Ability to prepare and analyse financial statements and accounting information.
• Experience in managing and supervising accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting analysis and processing tools.
