Customer Compliance Officer

About the role

The Customer Compliance Officer ensures that airline-specific standards, contractual obligations and audit expectations are consistently met across all stations. This role provides independent oversight of compliance risks, validates execution of customer requirements and escalates any deviations that could affect audit performance or contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit‑readiness strategy, conduct pre‑audits and validate responses for airline standards such as UAL and BA.
• Govern corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) from audits, ensuring they are defined, assigned, time‑bound and effective.
• Perform on‑site assessments to verify correct application of airline requirements and provide guidance to stations.
• Monitor compliance‑related KPIs, audit results and trends to identify and report risks.
• Provide structured compliance updates to Excellence Assurance and operational leadership.
• Align internal teams (KAM, FSQA, Safety, Operations) on accurate interpretation of airline standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, operations or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience with major international airlines or large‑scale aviation catering operations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 and aviation food safety regulations.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations and inspections in food safety compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software.
• CAPA governance and risk identification expertise.
