Driver Recruiter

About the role

The Driver Recruiter will lead the sourcing, attraction and hiring of qualified drivers and owner‑operators to support our growing transportation network. Working closely with operations, you will ensure a steady pipeline of professional drivers who meet safety, regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operations teams to identify staffing needs and define driver requirements.
• Utilise traditional and non‑traditional channels such as career fairs, online job fairs, community events and networking to attract candidates.
• Track and report recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, retention) and use data to improve strategies.
• Ensure all hiring processes comply with federal, state and DOT regulations, including safety standards.
• Review applications, conduct interviews and assess qualifications against DOT and company criteria.
• Maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
• Present employment offers, explaining benefits, compensation and any non‑competition agreements.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience recruiting drivers or working in transportation/logistics recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills
