Encargado/a de Seguridad Ocupacional

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Safety Technician to join our construction projects in San Vicente. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, preventing workplace hazards, and fostering a culture of safety on site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with safety standards during construction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on safety conditions.
• Identify risks, propose preventive and corrective measures, and verify the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Organize and support safety briefings, inductions, and training sessions for staff and contractors.
• Prepare safety reports, registers, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with the project team to promote safe work practices.

Required profile

• Formal education in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Risk Prevention, or related fields.
• Proven experience in occupational safety on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventive actions.
• Willingness to work on‑site and preferably reside in or near San Vicente.
