About the role
Atento is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its AI Agent team and help build state-of-the-art AI solutions that solve real-world customer challenges. The position is remote, based in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Key responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI agents
- Integrate APIs, databases, CRMs and external systems
- Work with LLMs, prompt engineering and RAG architectures
- Optimize agent performance and troubleshoot complex environments
- Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver AI solutions
- Conduct demos, PoCs and provide technical guidance
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, consulting or forward deployed engineering
- Strong programming skills, with Python and Golang proficiency
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agent frameworks, function calling and RAG
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, CI/CD, containerization and monitoring
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced English (B2+)
