Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support day‑to‑day HR operations for a growing U.S.-based healthcare organization. The role is on‑site in Colonia Escalón, San Salvador and is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional comfortable handling confidential employee information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Manage timekeeping, attendance, PTO, and timesheet follow‑ups.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain information in HRIS and internal systems.
• Assist with benefits, leave, and employee requests.
• Coordinate with managers and payroll to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Support HR compliance and process improvements.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in HR, HR administration, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (C2 level).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• On‑site availability in Colonia Escalón.
