Import Operations Administrator

About the role

Dollarcity is expanding its retail footprint across Latin America and needs an Import Operations Administrator to ensure efficient import processes and compliance with regulations. You will act as a key coordinator between internal teams, logistics providers, and external agencies, guaranteeing timely delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with key indicators such as import lead times and cost control.
• Oversee import regimes (LSI and definitive import) to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Generate reports to identify risks and provide visibility into operations.
• Coordinate with customs agencies, shipping lines, and land transport to ensure efficient execution.
• Provide status updates on imports, especially for key and seasonal products.
• Manage unexpected events to maintain operational continuity.
• Track container arrivals and warehouse compliance.
• Drive continuous improvements in the import process.

Required profile

• Degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in imports, logistics or foreign trade.
• Strong knowledge of import regimes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
