About the role

Tarraula, a high‑end interior design studio focused on luxury residential and hospitality projects in El Salvador, is looking for a senior leader to own the creative vision and quality of all its projects. The Head of Interior Design will guide concepts from brief to final installation, ensuring every delivery exceeds client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑end interior design projects from concept through completion, including space planning, material selection and installation supervision.
• Translate client briefs into clear concepts, moodboards and design proposals that align with Tarraula’s style.
• Manage and mentor junior designers and remote support staff, providing feedback and maintaining design standards.
• Prepare and present design proposals, handle revisions, and secure client approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carpenters, manufacturers and contractors to ensure execution matches the design intent.
• Visit sites to monitor key installation milestones and resolve on‑site issues.
• Develop and refine internal design checklists, standards and quality‑control processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in high‑end interior design (luxury residential, hospitality or similar).
• Strong portfolio showcasing before/after images, renders and real‑world photographs of premium projects.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Leadership ability to give clear feedback, raise team standards and meet deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented mindset focused on proportions, materials and functional reality.
