Junior Lawyer – Banking & Finance (El Salvador)

About the role

Mayora & Mayora is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join its Banking & Finance practice in El Salvador. The successful candidate will support a range of financial transactions, credit structuring and corporate advisory for both local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and formalize credit agreements and guarantee contracts.
• Participate in the deed‑registration process for financial operations.
• Provide general corporate legal advice to national and foreign clients.
• Analyze banking and regulatory legislation applicable to the Salvadoran financial system.
• Manage registry and notarial procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex financial transactions.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney in El Salvador.
• Minimum two years of experience in banks or law firms handling credit operations and deed registration.
• Knowledge of banking contracts and notarial law.
• Own vehicle.
• Active notary protocol.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
