About the role
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician will support the construction and engineering teams by performing material testing and ensuring compliance with current technical standards. This position is based on‑site in Santa Tecla and requires a hands‑on approach to data collection and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Execute tests and assays on construction materials following established procedures and technical norms.
- Verify test results and contribute to meeting the defined quality standards.
- Accurately record test data and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration according to schedule.
Required profile
- Technical degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum six months of experience as a laboratory technician, field inspector, or in a similar role.
- Desirable ACI (American Concrete Institute) certification.
- Availability to work rotating shifts.
- Own transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Residence in Santa Tecla, El Salvador.
Required skills
- ACI certification (desired).
