Network Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

RSM is seeking a senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise network and security solutions for mid‑market and enterprise clients. The role combines deep technical expertise with client‑facing consulting, overseeing projects from architecture through operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise network and security solutions aligned with vendor best practices and industry standards.
• Remotely manage deployment activities for routing, switching, wireless, SD‑WAN and security infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, security and connectivity issues across client environments.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, architecture documentation, standards, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, delivery teams, sales, vendors and client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Current Cisco CCIE certification (required).
• Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies, VLANs, Spanning Tree, dynamic routing, high availability and resiliency.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven customer‑facing consulting experience and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
