About the role

The Incubator Operator is responsible for all operational tasks involved in the egg and chick incubation process, ensuring compliance with bio‑security standards and company procedures. The role supports the farm’s production targets by handling eggs, embryos, and newly hatched chicks throughout the incubation cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload eggs and baskets for transport to the breeding farm and for export.
• Classify incubator eggs according to quality specifications to meet established standards.
• Transfer incubable eggs to the pre‑heating area and move embryos between incubators and hatchers.
• Perform sexing and counting of newly hatched chicks, maintaining accurate records while following bio‑security protocols.
• Vaccinate chicks to prevent disease and ensure production standards.
• Load chick baskets onto trucks for delivery to grow‑out farms.
• Unload by‑products and transport them to a flour plant.

Required profile

• Primary education (sixth grade) – not mandatory.
• 0‑2 years of experience in similar poultry or incubation roles.
• Strong visual‑motor dexterity.
• Basic mathematics knowledge.
• High attention to detail.
