Part-Time Billing Specialist (QuickBooks Required)

About the role

SBSO builds and runs operations for growing U.S. businesses such as trades companies, contractors and small teams. It is hiring a Billing Specialist to manage invoicing and billing for one of its U.S. clients, a growing construction and services business. The role is full-time hours but part-time, working from anywhere, based in El Salvador.

Key responsibilities

• Create, send and track invoices in QuickBooks
• Reconcile accounts and catch discrepancies early
• Follow up on outstanding balances and keep receivables current
• Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records
• Flag billing issues to the supervisor before they become client-facing problems

Required profile

• Has actually used QuickBooks daily, not just been familiar with it
• Does not need to be an accountant, but thinks like one: precise, skeptical of "close enough" and calm under a deadline
• Willingness to chase down numbers that look off rather than ignore them
