People Solutions Center Specialist (US HR Compliance)

About the role

The US Subject Matter Expert (SME) will serve as the functional authority for compliance‑critical People Solutions processes across the United States. This role ensures policy interpretation, consistent execution, and risk mitigation for US Benefits, Accommodations, Form I‑9, Unemployment, and Work Authorization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary SME for US Benefits, US Accommodations (medical and religious), Form I‑9 eligibility, US Unemployment claims, and US Work Authorization.
• Provide authoritative interpretation of policies, regulations, and internal standards.
• Ensure consistent process execution across People Solutions Center (PSC) teams.
• Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and quality assessments.
• Identify and proactively address compliance risks or gaps.
• Partner closely with PSC leadership and serve as the final escalation point for complex, high‑risk cases.
• Resolve escalations within established service level expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• 2–3 years of experience supporting US HR or People Solutions processes, preferably in a centralized or shared‑services model.
• Previous SME, Senior Advisor, or Specialist experience within PSC or a comparable environment.
• Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, or regulated employee programs.
• Strong knowledge of US compliance‑driven HR processes such as eligibility, accommodations, and benefits.
• Proven ability to handle complex escalations, compliance‑sensitive cases, and audit support.
