Pricing Analyst

About the role

Crowley is seeking a Pricing Analyst to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies for its trade lanes and customers. The role supports revenue growth through pricing analysis, market evaluation, and contract management across logistics, shipping, and transportation services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze costs, market conditions, and business data to create pricing proposals and rate offerings.
• Prepare and respond to RFPs promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Freight Services, and Operations on pricing initiatives and market opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements to maximize profitability.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, costing tools, and net‑analysis spreadsheets.
• Manage carrier contracts, slot charter agreements, tariffs, and pricing documentation.
• Participate in customer, vendor, and internal meetings to support pricing strategies.
• Maintain assigned trade‑lane contracts, tariffs, and rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of industry experience, including 1–2 years in customer service or sales.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and pricing‑strategy capabilities.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
