Proactive Online English Teacher

About the role

The Proactive Online English Teacher works remotely on a contract basis, delivering high‑quality, one‑on‑one English lessons to learners of various levels. You will create CEFR‑aligned lesson plans, conduct live sessions, assess progress and provide constructive feedback, ensuring each student receives a personalized learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prepare lesson plans that align with CEFR standards.
• Conduct live, interactive online classes with individual learners.
• Assess student performance, track progress, and deliver detailed feedback.
• Adapt teaching materials to meet the specific needs of each learner.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, outcomes, and student interactions.
• Utilise the platform’s digital tools to enhance engagement and learning.
• Communicate proactively with students and the support team to ensure consistent learning experiences.

Required profile

• Strong English teaching background with experience delivering online classes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant teaching certification such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA (highly beneficial).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a reliable internet connection.
• Prior experience with CEFR‑based curricula or standardized language assessment is an advantage.
