Remote ASP.NET Web Forms Developer

About the role

Spectrotel is looking for an experienced ASP.NET Web Forms developer with strong C# and SQL skills, who builds and maintains enterprise-level applications using n-Tier architectures and integrates with a wide range of APIs. The role also covers IIS management and SSRS report development. Experience with Telerik UI and exposure to Blazor is highly desirable. This is a fully remote position requiring a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications using ASP.NET Web Forms with code-behind architecture, writing clean, efficient C# code.
• Build and optimise SQL database solutions, including stored procedures, queries and database designs.
• Use Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX to build intuitive, dynamic user interfaces.
• Develop applications with n-Tier architecture, keeping concerns well separated.
• Integrate APIs using REST, SOAP and callback-based patterns.
• Create, manage and optimise reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Manage and configure IIS for deployment, environments and troubleshooting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• (Optional) Help migrate legacy ASP.NET Web Forms apps to Blazor.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Web Forms with code-behind.
• Extensive experience with Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX and n-Tier architectures.
• Strong SQL skills, including database design and query optimisation.
• Experience consuming REST, SOAP and callback-based APIs.
• Experience managing and configuring IIS.
• Preferred: knowledge of Blazor and experience migrating Web Forms apps to it.
• Problem-solving, independent and team work, and good communication and documentation skills.
