About the role

The Senior de Impuestos will lead tax analysis and provide specialized technical advice to ensure compliance with Salvadoran tax regulations. The role involves preparing memoranda, reports, and technical opinions while actively supporting tax audits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed tax analyses and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Draft memoranda, reports, and technical opinions on tax matters.
• Review tax determinations and ensure alignment with current legislation.
• Represent the company during DGII tax audits and inspections.
• Structure corporate operations for tax efficiency.
• Interpret and apply Salvadoran tax codes, ISR, VAT, and transfer‑pricing rules.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Public Accounting or Law (preferably a lawyer/notary).
• 3‑5 years of experience in tax consulting within law firms, Big 4, or corporate tax departments.
• Intermediate‑advanced proficiency in English.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Salvadoran tax legislation (Tax Code, ISR, VAT, transfer pricing).
• Experience handling DGII tax audits.
• Ability to prepare technical tax opinions and structure tax‑efficient transactions.
• Proficiency with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
