Senior Google Workspace Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Google Workspace Engineer to lead complex deployments and migrations for mid‑market and enterprise customers. You will collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and Professional Services, shaping solutions before sale and delivering end‑to‑end technical work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle Google Workspace deployments, including domain setup, DNS/MX, OU design, groups, policies and rollout planning.
• Plan and execute migrations from Microsoft 365, Exchange, IMAP and other platforms, as well as Google‑to‑Google tenant moves, using CloudM, Google Data Migration Service, GAM and rclone.
• Conduct Workspace security assessments and hardening, covering SSO/SAML, 2‑Step Verification, DLP, Google Vault, context‑aware access, endpoint and mobile management, audit and alerting.
• Automate administrative tasks with GAM, Google Apps Script and the Admin SDK.
• Support Sales on technical discovery, solution design, statements of work and customer demos.
• Guide customers in adopting Gemini for Workspace and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Train customer IT admins, produce clear hand‑off documentation, and handle Tier 3 escalations with Google support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Google Workspace administration or engineering, preferably with a Google partner or Google enterprise support program.
• Proven experience running migrations from Microsoft 365 or Exchange to Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and identity/SSO concepts.
• Professional English proficiency (C1/C2) with excellent verbal communication.
