Senior Lead Developer

About the role

You will lead the design, evolution, and delivery of software solutions that enable critical business operations across the organization. As part of the SAP & Software Development function, you will shape the technical vision, architecture and development practices to bring scalable, high‑quality applications into production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the software development team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring delivery of high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Translate business needs into robust technical designs, partnering with analysts and end users to define clear scopes and implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external software providers to design integrations and define road‑maps for successful deployments.
• Drive adoption of development best practices, including coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, quality tools and modern development environments.
• Define and manage the infrastructure required to support development initiatives, ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.
• Design and recommend software architectures aligned with business goals and technical sustainability.
• Evaluate and structure data models to support efficient processing, reporting and system interoperability.
• Establish monitoring and reporting capabilities that ensure stability, observability and continuous optimisation of delivered applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading software development teams in complex, enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, Java or other object‑oriented programming languages.
• Solid experience with SQL Server databases, including DDL, DML and scripting.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud services and core platform capabilities.
• Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem‑solving orientation and ability to evaluate options for sustainable solutions.
• Excellent time‑management, organisational and analytical skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
