Senior SOC Analyst with Cisco Experience – Fully Remote

About the role

Voxidea is looking for an experienced Senior SOC Analyst to join its IT and Security Operations team. This fully remote position focuses on monitoring, triaging, investigating, and responding to security events across a wide range of enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging, investigating and responding to alerts from MSSPs, SIEMs, XDR/EDR platforms, firewalls, identity systems and other security tools.
• Working directly with the MSSP to validate alerts, request evidence, and coordinate containment and remediation actions.
• Performing hands‑on investigations using SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365, SIEM platforms and Cisco security/networking technologies.
• Owning security tickets end‑to‑end, including categorisation, prioritisation, escalation, documentation and closure.
• Coordinating containment actions with IT (endpoint isolation, account actions, blocking indicators, access changes).
• Analyzing trends in alerts and incidents to reduce recurring noise and improve detection rules.
• Maintaining and improving SOC playbooks, incident‑response procedures and security documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in a SOC, security operations, monitoring or incident‑response role within a medium‑to‑large enterprise or managed security environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco security and networking technologies.
• Proven ability to investigate alerts independently, determine false positives, and drive remediation.
• Strong written documentation skills and the ability to communicate findings to IT leadership.
• Relevant certification (CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Microsoft SC‑200, GIAC or equivalent) obtained within the last three years.
