Technical Sales Support Professional

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Support Professional to provide technical and operational assistance to our commercial team on medium‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical solutions for utilities and infrastructure projects. The role involves developing proposals, conducting pre‑engineering activities, analysing customer requirements and supporting the sales process from a technical perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop technical and commercial proposals for medium‑voltage and low‑voltage solutions, including calculations, material selection and cost estimation.
• Conduct site surveys, technical assessments and develop preliminary engineering concepts and installation plans.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics and specifications to ensure solution feasibility.
• Act as technical advisor for the sales team, participate in customer meetings, technical presentations and project reviews.
• Support order management after award, coordinate technical information among customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Power or related engineering discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in proposal engineering, technical sales support, pre‑sales engineering or utilities/infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for site visits and customer meetings.

Required skills

• Medium‑voltage and low‑voltage distribution systems knowledge.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings, schematics and protection/control concepts.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other electrical design/drafting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital productivity tools.
• Familiarity with material take‑offs, project costing and AI‑assisted engineering tools.
