Accountant II (AR) – Cash Allocation Specialist

About the role

The Accountant II will manage cash allocation for top partners in a new program, oversee collection activities, and support financial risk mitigation across business units. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve payment disputes and ensure timely partner top‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor incoming receipts and allocate cash promptly, updating balances in the system.
• Use AR aging tools to manage customer accounts, identify past‑due balances, and initiate collection communications.
• Reconcile customer account balances at the invoice level and analyze discrepancies between customer records and BHN billing.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve billing questions and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform monthly/quarterly closing tasks, including checklists, reports, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and ad‑hoc billing queries.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable and cash allocation.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends on an EMEA schedule (early shift 2:00 am–12:00 pm).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Intermediate Microsoft Word skills.
• Experience with accounts receivable cash allocation processes.
