Accounting Assistant

About the role

The company is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support its regional financial and administrative operations. The role is ideal for an advanced student or recent graduate in accounting, auditing, or business administration who wants to gain practical experience in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and validate accounting transactions accurately and on time.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Maintain accounting documentation, including invoices, vouchers, and backup files.
• Track payments, settlements, advances, and reimbursements.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and monthly closing activities.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with established accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Public Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting assistance, finance, or administration.
• Organized, analytical, responsible, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems (knowledge is desirable).
