About the role
This position involves manually catching and moving live chickens from the holding area (galera) to transport trucks. The work is performed on‑site in a poultry processing environment and requires strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Catch and safely transfer chickens from the holding area to loading trucks.
- Ensure trucks are loaded within the scheduled time frames.
- Inspect birds for quality, rejecting any that are underweight or of poor condition.
- Handle birds carefully to avoid bruises or injuries during the catch.
- Communicate any incidents or issues immediately to the supervisor.
Required profile
- Primary education (at least fourth grade).
- Student in 4th grade or higher, with basic math knowledge.
- Minimum six months experience in a similar manual handling role.
- Ability to work night shifts and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to adapt to environmental conditions such as dust, humidity, rain, and ammonia.
