Agile Facilitator

About the role

Applaudo is looking for an Agile Facilitator to create an environment where software development teams can collaborate effectively, maintain momentum and deliver high-quality solutions. The role goes beyond following ceremonies: it needs clear communication, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement. It is a full-time, on-site position based in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coordinate sprint commitments, task assignments and resource availability to support predictable delivery.
• Monitor sprint progress and team performance with delivery metrics to spot bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Address impediments and escalate risks or dependencies that threaten delivery commitments.
• Partner with Product Owners to align sprint objectives with product priorities and keep the backlog well prepared.
• Work with Engineering, QA and DevOps teams to coordinate development, testing and deployment readiness.
• Coach teams in Agile practices and improvements from retrospectives, and help resolve delivery-related conflicts.
• Communicate sprint status, risks, capacity concerns and delivery forecasts to the Engineering Delivery Manager.
• Work with People Experience on workload concerns and team well-being, and drive continuous improvements in sprint execution, efficiency, quality and predictability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Agile Facilitation, Scrum Mastery, Delivery Coordination or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, sprint planning and iterative software delivery.
• Experience coordinating tasks, resources and dependencies across cross-functional software teams, and managing delivery risks and competing priorities.
• Fluent English; certifications such as CSM, SAFe Agilist or PMI-ACP are a nice-to-have.

Required skills

• Jira, Confluence and other Agile tracking tools, including monitoring sprint velocity and delivery performance.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution and stakeholder communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills focused on team accountability and sustainable workloads.
