Analista de Microbiología

About the role

The Microbiology Analyst will perform microbiological testing on packaging, raw materials, process water, the production environment, and finished beverages to ensure product safety and quality across all production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Collect samples from packaging, raw materials, water, environment and finished products.
• Conduct microbiological analyses and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Verify the quality of packaging materials, raw ingredients, equipment and finished goods.
• Report any condition that could affect occupational safety or the environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety management systems (BPM, PPR, HACCP, HARPC, Food Defense) and flag any issues that may compromise product safety.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience performing microbiological analyses in a food or beverage environment.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.

Required skills

• Microbiological analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety management systems (BPM, PPR, HACCP, HARPC, Food Defense).
• Sample collection and laboratory record‑keeping.
