Analista de Microbiología

About the role

The Microbiology Analyst will ensure the safety and quality of beverages by performing microbiological testing on raw materials, packaging, process water, the production environment, and finished products. This role supports all production lines and contributes to the company’s commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collect samples from packaging, raw materials, process water, environment, and finished products.
• Conduct microbiological analyses according to established methods.
• Maintain accurate records of samples, test results, and quality reports.
• Verify that packaging, raw materials, equipment, and production areas meet company quality standards.
• Report any conditions that could affect occupational safety or the environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety management systems (BPM, PPR, HACCP, HARPC, Food Defense) and flag any safety‑critical issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Engineering or Chemistry.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar microbiology or quality control role.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as required.
