About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join a leading organization in the insurance/financial services sector. The role focuses on analyzing financial performance, preparing budgets, and delivering strategic insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports.
• Develop, monitor, and control the annual budget.
• Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual results.
• Create financial forecasts and modeling scenarios.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost structures across business units.
• Generate financial and management KPIs for decision support.
• Produce executive presentations and reports for senior management.
• Track financial and budgetary targets and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities that affect results.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects related to financial processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect and validate financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, management control or financial planning.
• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial institutions is highly valued.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and result‑orientation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Power BI or Tableau (data analysis tools)
• Financial modeling and forecasting
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle or other ERP financial systems
• Understanding of insurance business metrics (premiums, claims, technical reserves)
