Analista I – Metodología y Modelos Analíticos

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Methodology and Analytical Models Management team at Banco Agrícola. The role focuses on developing, enabling and maintaining compliance applications that support anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑terrorist‑financing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional, technical and regulatory requirements of compliance applications and translate AML/CFT prevention needs into architectures, solutions and acceptance criteria.
• Design and develop full‑stack solutions, interfaces, queries, integrations and services, incorporating AML/CFT rules while adhering to institutional programming, security and version‑control standards.
• Define and execute unit, technical, integration and functional testing strategies to validate business rules, data integrity and control traceability.
• Optimize and maintain software components, queries and processes, performing root‑cause analysis, incident resolution and defect correction to ensure operational continuity.
• Create and keep technical documentation, data dictionaries, architecture diagrams, configuration details, test evidence and implementation procedures, and provide technical guidance to involved teams.
• Coordinate deployments and changes with compliance, technology, infrastructure, database, cybersecurity and functional users, assessing risks, dependencies and controls.
• Monitor technical performance, data quality and control execution, analyze events and patterns from an AML/CFT perspective, anticipate failures and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Informatics or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of software development, object‑oriented programming, SQL, relational databases, version control and software testing.
• Certificates or studies in AML/CFT prevention are desirable.
