Analista Senior de Costos

About the role

The Senior Cost Analyst will support construction projects by reviewing and validating cost estimates against work quantity lists, market prices, and industry benchmarks. The role ensures that unit costs for new and existing contract items are accurate and aligned with contractual modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare documentation that supports the calculation of estimated project costs.
• Analyze price reasonableness for work units based on information from contract administrators, especially for contractual modifications that add new items.
• Assess internal client data to estimate cost indices for items without existing references.
• Request quotations for materials, equipment, and tools to verify construction industry costs and market rates.

Required profile

• Graduate in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Public Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preparing budgets for electrical, mechanical, or general civil works.
• Proven ability to structure and analyze unit prices, execution activities, and to supervise or monitor construction projects.
