Architect

About the role

ERRET STUDIO is seeking an Architect to work on‑site in San Salvador on a full‑time basis. The role involves contributing to the planning, design, and development of residential, commercial, corporate, leisure and cultural projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare concept designs, detailed drawings and construction documents.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and consultants to ensure project alignment.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings, translate requirements into design solutions and revise plans based on feedback.
• Support project management activities such as scheduling, resource coordination and progress tracking.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture and architectural design with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience in project management for architectural projects, including coordination of timelines and stakeholders.
• Understanding of building codes, construction processes and sustainable design principles.
• Professional licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency and experience with international projects are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with 3D visualization tools and BIM platforms.
