About the role

The Mortgage and Judicial Collections Department of Banco Agrícola is seeking a Collections Advisor (Level I) to manage delinquent mortgage loans. The role involves analysing each case, proposing recovery alternatives, and executing actions that align with bank policies to maintain a healthy loan portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Contact borrowers, guarantors and co‑debtors by phone or in person to negotiate payment promises, account charges or mutually beneficial arrangements.
• Verify and analyse daily collection activities, decide on the most appropriate recovery strategy, and initiate refinancing, term extensions, restructuring or dation‑in‑payment requests.
• Attend clients at the bank, finalize payment plans, and process refinancing or extension applications in coordination with the Legal Management.
• Conduct field visits to understand client circumstances, propose tailored solutions, and monitor the progress of each case.
• Maintain continuous follow‑up, formalise agreements, and ensure timely accounting of all restructuring actions.

Required profile

• Active university student pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in credit collection or similar roles, with proven ability to handle difficult clients.
• Knowledge of mortgage and consumer loan refinancing policies and the types of guarantees used by the bank.
• Strong influence and impact generation, familiarity with innovative tools and digital trends.
