Asesor de Cobranza I – Recuperación Hipotecaria y Judicial

About the role

The Collections Advisor I will support the Mortgage and Judicial Recovery Department of Banco Agrícola by managing delinquent mortgage accounts, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring the portfolio remains healthy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze each mortgage delinquency case and propose appropriate recovery alternatives in line with bank policies.
• Contact clients, guarantors, or co‑debtors by phone, in‑person or at their workplace to secure payment promises and negotiate settlements.
• Verify and analyze daily collection actions to decide the best recovery path.
• Attend clients visiting the bank to finalize payment plans, refinancings, term extensions, restructurings or dation in payment.
• Conduct field visits to understand client situations and offer tailored negotiation options.
• Process refinancing, term extension and dation in payment requests, ensuring compliance with internal committees.
• Continuously monitor each case and formalize approved arrangements with the Legal Management department.

Required profile

• Active university student pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in credit recovery, collections or similar banking roles.
• Proven ability to handle difficult clients and understand the bank’s guarantee types.
• Knowledge of customer service techniques and credit recovery policies, especially for mortgage and consumer refinancing.
