Asistente Senior de Contabilidad

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in San Salvador. The role is ideal for a recent graduate or current student in accounting or business administration who wants to deepen practical accounting experience in a full‑time, office‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor purchases, sales, expenses and revenue.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and oversee financial transaction records.
• Support payroll preparation, including social security, pension fund contributions and tax withholdings.
• Organize and maintain accounting documentation for the external accountant.

Required profile

• Student or graduate of Public Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility and keen attention to detail.
• Motivation to develop professionally within the finance function.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fundamental accounting knowledge.
