Bilingual Accounting Assistant

About the role

Join DMA Business Group as a Bilingual Accounting Assistant and gain hands‑on experience with U.S. accounting and tax regulations while supporting clients in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Record and classify accounting transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support monthly closings for assigned client portfolios.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for senior accountant review.
• Organize and control each client’s supporting documentation.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams in English and Spanish via email and meetings.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or graduate in Public Accounting, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• English level B2 or higher, able to read, write and hold a working conversation.
• Verifiable previous accounting experience and strong attention to detail.
• Availability for on‑site work in San Salvador.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero or another cloud accounting platform (bonus).
• Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs (bonus).
