Bilingual Healthcare Advocate (Onsite San Salvador)

About the role

The Healthcare Advocate is the frontline of Carenet’s member and patient experience, handling every interaction with accuracy, empathy, and compliance. This position supports high‑quality healthcare assistance, improves access to care, and strengthens member satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to healthcare services, benefits, scheduling, and member support.
• Provide accurate information while demonstrating empathy and professionalism, following approved scripts and escalation procedures.
• Document member or patient interactions accurately in required systems and identify issues for escalation.
• Maintain adherence to schedules, attendance policies, and break requirements.
• Participate in coaching sessions, quality reviews, and team meetings to improve service quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in a call‑center, healthcare, or customer‑service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a patient‑focused mindset.
• Ability to follow structured processes, scripts, and compliance requirements consistently.
• Willingness to learn healthcare terminology, systems, and workflows.
