Billing Specialist

About the role

A phone-based Billing Specialist role supporting North American operations, based in San Salvador. You will handle billing inquiries, payments, account balances and follow-ups, keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date. The position is full-time, with on-site onboarding followed by a hybrid schedule after 90 days.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls about billing, payments and account balances
• Answer billing inquiries and support tickets
• Process and track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
• Communicate with customers about payments, charges and account information
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve account issues
• Update customer accounts and maintain accurate records
• Document calls, follow-ups and account activity in the CRM

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in billing, collections, finance, account management or a related field
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ preferred)
• Confident handling phone calls and account follow-ups
• Attention to detail with numbers and account data, organized and able to manage several priorities
• Comfortable talking about payments and balances, and solution-oriented in difficult situations

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or ticketing platforms
