Bookkeeper – Construction AIA Billing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise to support our financial department in the commercial construction sector. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, payment processing, and maintaining financial records while ensuring compliance with industry billing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review data for financial reports.
• Manage invoices, including preparation, entry, and tracking.
• Register vendor bills and process payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month‑end close.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and data‑privacy standards.
• Excellent mathematical ability and high integrity.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Professionalism, proactive attitude, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• QuickBooks and QuickBooks Projects.
• AIA billing software (e.g., Werx, Knowify, CAPS).
• Familiarity with AIA billing forms G702 and G703.
• Google Suite (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Hubstaff (Web, Desktop, Tasks).
• Zoom for virtual meetings.
