Business Advisor

About the role

As a Business Advisor you will coach and guide Operations Managers before and after client placement, translating business realities into actionable guidance to ensure fast manager growth and reliable client results.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Ops Managers on readiness, expectations, and the EdgeOS install process before client placement.
• Provide ongoing coaching after placement, addressing performance gaps and real client situations.
• Offer practical business advice for day‑to‑day operations with U.S. construction, roofing, public adjusting, and home‑trade service clients.
• Diagnose issues, pressure‑test options, and define clear next steps for problem‑solving.
• Drive hard accountability, deliver difficult feedback, and protect client outcomes when managers drift off‑system.
• Collaborate with hiring and training teams to reinforce coaching and flag common struggles for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Prior management or business role with real operational or people‑decision authority.
• Proven problem‑solving ability in ambiguous, high‑stakes environments.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or advising professionals, preferably managers.
• Strong spoken and written English in a U.S. client context.
• Ownership mindset with remote/async‑friendly work habits.

Required skills

• Ability to structure coaching sessions with goals, action plans, and follow‑up.
• Comfort with training‑style systems such as scorecards, playbooks, and install sprints.
