Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst at RSM will understand business problems and opportunities, recommend solutions, and lead analysis activities for high‑priority projects. You will work closely with product, process, and user teams, collaborating with business leaders and IT to improve technology use.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis for high‑priority projects, creating detailed business requirements and designs ready for development.
• Facilitate requirements elicitation, document user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting diagrams such as data mapping.
• Participate in sprint planning, UAT execution, and release go/no‑go decisions.
• Support product road‑mapping, backlog management, and prioritize work based on business value.
• Promote Agile adoption, ensure Center of Excellence standards, and provide process improvement ideas.
• Manage small projects or work streams, assist with training materials, and contribute to change‑management plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of business analysis experience in a development environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience working with third‑party vendors and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to analyze and document data mapping and microservice components.
• Knowledge of defect‑tracking processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Scaled Agile, Kanban.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
