Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

A Business Intelligence Analyst is sought in Santa Elena (San Salvador Metropolitan Area), El Salvador, to support business operations through data analysis, performance reporting and operational planning. The role suits an analytical professional who turns complex data into actionable insights and supports data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, analyze and interpret operational data to support reporting and business intelligence activities.
• Develop, maintain and optimize dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Monitor operational KPIs, team productivity, campaign performance and service delivery metrics.
• Identify data trends, inconsistencies and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support capacity planning and forecasting by analyzing case volumes, workloads and campaign timelines.
• Monitor campaigns and give insights so operational commitments and client expectations are met.
• Generate actionable business insights and recommendations for operational leaders and stakeholders.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity while supporting reporting automation and process improvements.
• Work with SQL databases and reporting systems, and support CRM reporting (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting requirements and present findings in English and Spanish.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, operations reporting, data science or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau or Looker).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including extraction, joins and data manipulation.
• Experience building reports, dashboards and tracking KPIs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or university studies in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science or related fields preferred.
• English B2+ or above, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
