About the role

The Bank Teller will join the branch operations team, handling daily cash and check transactions while ensuring strict compliance with institutional policies and delivering courteous service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process withdrawals, deposits, and cash or check transactions for local and regional clients.
• Maintain authorized cash limits in the drawer and request replenishments from the Operations Officer as needed.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation, balancing cash inflows and outflows, vouchers, and transaction slips.
• Safeguard assigned cash, denominations, and values according to security protocols.
• Apply anti‑money‑laundering, asset protection, and counter‑terrorism financing regulations.
• Assist in preparing and processing daily operational reports in line with internal standards.

Required profile

• Active student (minimum fourth year) in Economics, Business, or Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in bank operations or a similar teller role.
• Knowledge of active/passive banking operations, counterfeit detection, and AML procedures.
• Strong customer orientation, result focus, effective communication, and creativity.
