Case Manager Assistant

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a U.S. personal injury law firm by handling both records‑retrieval and case‑progression tasks. You will work closely with assigned Case Managers to keep pre‑litigation files moving forward.

Key responsibilities

• Request and obtain medical records, bills, police reports, photographs, insurance documents and other evidence to build complete case files.
• Maintain organized case files in Litify, accurately labeling and uploading documents.
• Track treatment updates, follow up with hospitals, providers, employers and agencies, and keep case managers informed of outstanding items.
• Communicate professionally with clients to explain needed documentation and provide compassionate support.
• Process incoming correspondence, faxes and electronic files promptly, routing them to the appropriate case files.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a U.S. personal injury law firm, including hands‑on retrieval of medical records and bills.
• Strong written and spoken English with the ability to interact professionally with clients, medical providers and insurers.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
• Reliable internet, suitable computer equipment and a dedicated remote workspace.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Litify or a comparable legal case‑management platform.
