About the role

We are looking for an experienced pastry chef to join our hotel kitchen. The role involves preparing a wide range of desserts and baked goods for hotel guests, working in a team‑oriented environment with rotating shifts. You will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards while supporting the overall dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and present pastries, desserts, and baked products according to hotel standards.
• Maintain high quality and consistency in all culinary creations.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and ensure proper storage.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service times and menu updates.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Develop new dessert recipes and adapt existing ones to seasonal ingredients.
• Train junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques.
• Ensure cost control and minimize waste.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Handle special dietary requests.

Required profile

• 30 to 60 years of age.
• At least five years of proven experience as a pastry chef.
• Honest, respectful and a good attitude.
• Team‑player accustomed to working in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak service periods.
