Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

CodeEye is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to own the Azure DevOps organization, Azure infrastructure, and cloud cost management (FinOps) for its IRIS security platform. You will work closely with the VP of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Stabilization Team Lead, QA and product developers, and participate in an on‑call rotation for priority‑1 incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Azure DevOps projects, teams, permissions, pipelines (classic to YAML), service connections and branch policies.
• Own Bicep IaC templates, run production changes through code review, and maintain compute, data and networking services across environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, backup policies and disaster‑recovery drills for Azure resources.
• Produce daily cloud‑spend reports, set budgets, investigate cost spikes and optimise resource usage.
• Provide evidence for SOC 2 audits and document runbooks for admin, infrastructure and cost tasks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure production workloads.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform) and cloud cost management.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.

• Azure DevOps Services (classic & YAML pipelines, Boards, Entra ID groups).
• Azure Container Apps, Container Registry, Key Vault, MySQL Flexible Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Blob Storage.
• Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, NAT, VPN gateways, private DNS, Front Door).
• Bicep (or Terraform) for IaC, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps REST API.
• FinOps tools: budgets, anomaly alerts, cost‑allocation tagging, rightsizing.
