Cloud Sales Order Specialist

About the role

AppDirect, a subscription commerce platform, is looking for a Cloud Sales Order Specialist who owns a queue of sales support tickets from intake through resolution while meeting defined SLA targets. The role covers the full quote-to-fulfillment lifecycle for cloud technology subscriptions, from quoting and deal registration to order management and provisioning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a queue of sales support tickets from intake to resolution, meeting SLA targets at each stage.
• Hold discovery conversations with Advisors and customers to identify the right cloud products and solutions in the AppDirect Marketplace.
• Build and deliver accurate quotes for SaaS and IaaS subscriptions, managing deal registrations and discount approval workflows.
• Execute marketplace fulfillment end-to-end, including provider provisioning and resolving pending order events.
• Run quality checks on customer and order data before submission to prevent downstream errors.
• Work with Provider Managers to resolve quoting, discounting or ordering blockers in a timely way.
• Identify recurring friction points in the order and fulfillment process and help implement improvements.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in sales operations, order management or cloud service support, with hands-on exposure to SaaS or IaaS subscriptions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Ticketing or CRM tools such as Zendesk, HubSpot or Jira.
• Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with quoting processes, deal registration and working with third-party technology providers.
