Collections Analyst

About the role

The Collections Analyst is responsible for resolving outstanding balances and handling inquiries from both internal and external customer accounts. This hybrid position supports Crowley's maritime, logistics and energy operations by ensuring accurate account management and cash collection.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal and external customers to research and resolve payment issues, process adjustments, credits and write‑offs.
• Review account details for accuracy and regulatory compliance, reconcile transactions, and maintain accurate balances.
• Manage a credit and collection portfolio to reduce past‑due balances, meet cash targets and improve AR quality.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and operations teams to resolve billing issues and mitigate risk.
• Communicate with customers according to collection policy and coordinate efforts across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of collections experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Lawson or similar accounting systems.
