Commercial Assistant (Santa Tecla)

About the role

The Commercial Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring efficient order management, customer follow‑up, and coordination of commercial activities. This position is ideal for an organized, proactive individual who enjoys teamwork and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and track customer orders in the ERP system until delivery.
• Provide customer service via phone, email, and WhatsApp, handling inquiries and complaints.
• Conduct telemarketing to prospect new clients and reactivate inactive accounts.
• Maintain up‑to‑date commercial information and client database.
• Coordinate delivery and collection of commercial samples.
• Assist in logistics for events, trainings, and sales presentations.
• Record and follow up on client complaints, liaising with relevant departments.
• Prepare and send commercial information and technical documentation to clients.
• Offer general administrative support to the sales team.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 1‑2 years of experience in commercial assistance, customer service, telemarketing or internal sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo, SAP or similar).
• Familiarity with communication tools such as WhatsApp Business.
