Contador Junior – Gestión Contable y Nómina

About the role

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for the comprehensive management of SUNTECHsv's accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. This full‑time, onsite role is based in the Valle Dulce area of El Salvador.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly and annual accounting closures.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain up‑to‑date financial records.
• Prepare financial statements and analyze results.
• Ensure compliance with Salvadoran tax regulations and prepare tax filings.
• Handle invoicing and manage payroll for 35 employees, including benefits administration.

Required profile

• Knowledge of general accounting, Salvadoran fiscal regulations, and applicable accounting principles.
• At least one year of proven experience in similar accounting roles.
• Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, coordinate with other departments, and communicate financial information clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced use of spreadsheet tools (Excel).
